just remember, "spring forward, fall back."

Backward. A simple rule of thumb: "Spring forward; Fall back". (ie: in the Spring, when it's changed in April, your clock will go forward. In the Fall, it always goes backward. One extra hour of sleep in the Fall!).

I didn't know the phrase "spring forward, fall backward". It's cool, because it'd be a word play in German. (spring=jump, fall= to fall)

By rule of thumb, your "spring" forward and "fall'' back. In the spring you set your clock up one hour, in the fall you set your clock one hour back, getting one more hour of sleep...... its kinda like lefty loosey, righty tighty.... Good luck, hope this helps.
