Try making sure your skin is dry before putting it on and afterwards dust yourself with a light powder to keep it from rubbing off. Good Luck!

The shading problem you are having is probably due to different lights that you look at yourself under. The tint of it isn't changing, bu tthe light is.
Hopefully, you aren't using a seperate moisturizer with your tinted moisturizer. That's overlaod.
You might try a foundation primer...Smashbox makes the best, it's called "Photofinish" and is a bit pricey ($42) but goes a loong way and makes a big difference in setting any kind of face makeup. You can test it out at any Sephora.
But the other post on here is right to say that you should be setting it with a powder. This will certainly make is stay put better. You can get cheap powders..they are all made of the same stuff basically. If you are worried about looking "cakey" or putting too much stuff on your face, get a loose one and dust it on with a big fluffy brush

After you apply your tinted moisturizer, lightly dust your face with a powder to set it. It won't be totally smudge-proof, but it will cut down on color transfer. Maybe you should try a bronzer over your tinted moisturizer to give the illusion of a healthy glow. Especially on days when you look washed out.

Make sure you have cleansed your face properly, and all soaps, face washes and lotions are not left on your skin, Baby wipes wil do a nice job of refreshing your skin and making sure all other products are wiped of your skin. Make sure your face has no residue on it so your tinted moisturiser will go on well..
You do not have to apply moisturiser before applying your tinted moisturiser, some people do make that mistake,
Make sure when you apply it , It is completely rubbed in, Make sure you then use fingerstrokes on your face downwards, ( Just to give a better even tone ).
Hope this helps :) ( Also, you can keep it refrigerated and when you apply it it gives your skin a lift of freshness as the coolness soothes your skin!! works everytime!)
