War is always BAD. There are always other solutions if we stop and think and stop trying to be a world power.
War is killing, is killing good, no. The only time that God allows war is when it is a dirrect threat to your safety and the safety of your families. Direct threat like another country overtaking ours, a person with a gun at your head, someone hurting your family.
Our governement should never be the agressors. We are supposed to be intelligent and for humanity. How is this war showing our country in a good light? It is not. We have made many enemies now. We will have to watch over our shoulders for years to come. And we will be stuck in Iraq and the middle east for at least 7 more years. Do you think the Iraqis what this?
No they want us out. They want their country back.
Look at all the killing that is still going on. Not only are we loosing fine young soldiers the Iraqis are losing families, full familes. Lets stop killing and sit down and talk. It takes intelligence to talk out a solution and it takes muscle to use war for a solution.

It depends on the purpose of the war. If you are trying to fee a people from a murderous tyrant, than I think it is a worthy cause.
If you are going across the border of a neighboring country to take over, that is a bad war.

War is never good as the best always fight the wars, while the cowardly and frail stay safely at home,it is not a good population
control because it destroys the best of the best, but, freedom don't come cheap, if we are to retain the small amount of remaining freedom accorded us we have got to fight , simple,
some say lets negotiate, I agree but how do you negotiate with fanatics who's religion says kill you or convert you , so you decide , do you want to convert to Islam, die or fight, I choose the later, real American men feel the same , not the wossies,

it was totally necessary to invade Afghanistan, al-qaeda were based there and training there and the Taliban refused to expel them. Iraq was a stupid diversion of men and material. bin laden and radical Muslims hated Saddam and he hated them. there were no al-qaeda in Iraq, and there was ample evidence there was no WMDs. the war in Afghanistan had not been won, yet the dopey C-in-C broke the cardinal rule and divided his forces. now the Taliban are resurgent in Afghanistan because NATO lack manpower as their forces are tied up in Iraq which only became a magnet for terrorists after the invasion. the war against terrorism is right, the war that helped create more terrorists in Iraq is wrong and down right stupid.

War is always bad.
Unfortunately, sometimes war is necessary.
The Islamic radicals' demand is clear:
You will convert to Islam - or you will die.
I don't like either of these options - and I'm sure you don't either.
The only other option, I'm afraid, is to annihilate all of those who would subscribe to this demented ideology.
Since 1979, continuing up until the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, it has been a one sided war because of a total lack of response to the acts of war carried out by these dirt bags against Americans all over the globe.
And, make no mistake, the bombing of our embassies and military installations, navel ship and commercial airlines are NOT criminal acts - they are acts of war.

War, is questionable, just like anything it depends on what you are fighting for and who you are fighting for. War could be between two countries, or two people. You just have to remember that it depends on what you are fighting for. If you fight for a good cause it is okay, but when your not fighting for something strong or real, then it's not right. Like Iraq!!!! I feel that it was not our fight to fight, but Bush thought it was... But I support them through it all because I have loved one's there and I do not want to see nothing happen to them.

Well, it helps with population control. Of course a lot of those who die are good people, but that's the chance you take. Let's face it, there is nothing good about war, but try to convince Bush and his cronies of that fact - they're all a bunch of war-crazed, war-mongering idiots.

Necessary for defense when attacked or when in imminent danger of attack, but otherwise, as the Motown hit goes:
"War, war, what is it good for?
Absolutely........ nothing!"
