Try a classical or jazz radio station - lots of tense people use that at work.

Classical is about the most soothing music you can listen to, but you must prerecord your likes or else you may be hit by a rousing Mozart Cosi Fan Tutu or a Hayden Surprise Symphony which will shatter your peaceful composure. It is hard to find that type of soothing music, that is played on a continuous basis. You will have to record for playback. One of those Ipods would do the trick.

Mozart is my favourite. I heard that they play it on the London Underground to calm passengers waiting for trains that are probably going to be running very late.

try any of Enya albums - all her music is very soothing and calm but very emotional at the same time

Sigur Ros is excellent. It is very beautiful and peaceful as well as interesting and haunting. Sigur Ros is never boring.
