I finally started using an anti-aging line, from Arbonne, after admitting to the fine lines around my eyes, etc. I've seen good results after just 2 weeks.

Yes they do, the ones with alpha hydroxy acids, salicilic acid, or beta hydroxy acids do work by sloughing off the dead skin cells & bringing out the fresh new skin cells. Over time the tiny lines & wrinkles will diminish somewhat. I started using them when I was in my early 20's & I'm 39 & I don't have a wrinkle or line on my face & I have a fresh, clear, glowing complexion. The product I use is Alpha Hydrox. You can also use one of the home microdermabrasion systems sold at drug stores a couple times a week & that really helps. But most importantly use SUNSCREEN & never ever go into a tanning bed. 99% of wrinkles come from the sun, and the fairer your complexion the more damage you get from the sun, not to mention skin cancer which has increased signifigantly in recent years due to tanning beds. Good luck & few wrinkles to you.

You'll need to choose the good products and yes, some don't work. You also need to watch your diet and get a healthy balanced one as you are what you eat. If you have really dry skin, you are more prone to get wrinkles so try to avoid things that add up to drying your skin. More importantly, avoid the sun..... even if you put a lot of anti-wrinkle creams but get over exposed to the sun, you'll still end up with wrinkles. Try the more natural-based products that don't have harsh ingredients. I follow a 3 step skin care system that works well.

Scam. There's nothing that can help except a face-lift or a nip-tuck. Wearing sunscreen all the days of your life will help a lot.

Let me add this: if they really work, why are there so many of them? And why do all the cosmetics companies continually make a cream that is supposed to be even better than the ones before? Don't the "old" ones work; the company claimed in its advertising that it would? Just something to think about.

I buy moderately expensive anti wrinkle creams, and altho I was sceptical some really do work. (l'oreal collagen filler in particular) You can check out reviews by typing the name of the product you're interested in, into the search engine which are done by 'normal' consumers. if you do invest in decent creams it is also important to make sure you have a good cleanse, tone and moisturise routine, as by slacking in that area negates the good of the posh stuff.

good question I was wondering that too when I kept seeing Olay wrinkle-free creams. I think it just tightens your skin for a day a little. If it did work then I think it would be very expensive and nick named the fountain of youth.

Hello,
A web site I recommend is http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=547 by Steve and Becky Holman.
They teach you how to look younger and literally reverse the aging process. This program is not about drugs, supplements or gimmick. It's 100% natural: there are specific ways to move, eat and think that tell your brain to stop the aging process. They also teach all the things the you absolutely have to avoid if you want to slow the aging process and achieve your ideal body.
Bye

if you look at the wrinkle cream adverts with the same actress year after year, you see her get older looking and the camera get more soft-focus. They don't really work. Staying out of the sun, staying moisturised and being blessed with good genes, is what keeps the complexion young.

i have been using retin a 0.025% so it's pure and incredibly strong the strongest stuff you can get. but after a couple of days it may start stinging and it will effectively peel your skin away in fine layers but you will be flakey till you get used to it and any irritation settles down. ive noticed that in 3 weeks of using it the winkles on my forehead have almost dissapeared. mind u if youre tanned it will strip it right off. and you have to use atleast factor15 so you dont get patchy pigmentation. its brilliant but you have to follow instructions carefully. it also gets rid of acne and blemishes, purple scars etc. get it from your GP or over internet as its prescription only. its Listed as an acne cure.

i use Mary Kay i've been using their products for 20 years I don't know if it helps prevent "wrinkles" but I found it's the best out there (I tried alot of store bought items....not the same)
