Go with your own gut instincts and heart. If they say no then don't, if they say yes then do.

I became best friends with a man 17 years older than me. Our friendship went on for almost 2 years when we realized we were in love with eachother. However, we had an obstacle - we were both married with kids. We never crossed that line of becoming sexual. In time my marriage feel apart (not because of him & I though). We got closer & he was my rock and gave me strength to leave my husband & get through the seperation. We fully believe we are soul mates and have known eachother for 9 years now. We both have a tattoo representing our connection to eachother. Since my divorce we have been together & it is the most wonderful thing in the world. However, we still can not really be together.

So I wouldn't let age be a factor in your attraction or love for the other. Love knows no age and should not be considered an obstacle. Go with what you feel & she feels. That's all that really matters.

That really isn't too much of an age difference. I really think that an older woman with a younger man works really well. Enjoy yourself, get to know her, and don't think about ages.
Think about if you were 29; you'd have no problem dating a 23 yr old, right?

Age is not a factor whether you are 23 or 45 if it's just the two of you, but be aware that family members of either side may not be as open as we are here. I am currently crushing on a guy 11 years younger than I am. He makes me feel things I haven't felt in years.

That small age difference will have no effect. Actually many older women do better with a younger guy. But that's not my preference. I like younger girls because everything is new and exciting to them and I have the resources to take them places the young guys can't. Probably works in reverse.

Dude! what are you not sure about? I am 30 and have been with a 45 year old. Older ladies are the only way to go! great in the sack and you dont have to deal with all of the immature, insecure drama horse crap. Go for it!

I am 31 and my husband is 27 it's not as big an age difference but my ex and I were 7 years apart. We are still friends but I no longer wanted a long distance relationship. It is not age so much as compatibility and maturity. If you guys are on the same page it shouldn't matter. Much luck.

One of my friends met her husband when she was 26 and he was 19. They have been married for 21 years. And when you see the two of them together you would think they just met. They are more in love today then when they first met. So, who cares, if you like her and she likes you and the two of you are having fun and enjoying each others company. Enjoy! God bless

OMG, she's an old lady and will drag you down...

**see I get thumbs down and ALL of you fell for his orginal line of being a 23 year old and a 29 year old, duh...egg in your face, he's a pervert!!!

Don, I guess it really does not make a difference, just ask her if she'll mind changing your diapers when you're all used up...

If you feel uncomfortable with the age difference, then you shouldn't be dating the woman...End it now before it becomes serious.
