I don't know what men's rights are, but I wish we had some! If men attack feminist hypocrisy, we are women haters and male chauvinists. It's political correctness that makes it that way. Especially in college social studies classes. Those classes are a feminist brainwashing that all of our society has bought into.

Overcompensation. Back before womens rights men could pretty much do whatever they wished to women, including rape their own wives, but starting around the early 80's things went too far in the other direction.People got so used to watching out for womens rights that they bent too far backwards, and now you see novelty items such as tee shirts bearing the slogan "The Stupid Factory:Where Boys Are Made" Can you imagine what would happen if a man wore a similar tee shirt? it would be on the news, yet there is a whole line of those shirts produced in the thousands and we hear nothing. You see the same thing when you watch sitcoms, the man tends to be the dumb oaf,and the woman always seems to be rght.....

I dont think a lot of women beat men to the extremes that men beat women. Women may slap a guy who's been a jerk or cheated on her or something, and with good reason - when men hit women its usually out of drunken anger or fury - and they usually hurt her a lot more than any woman would ever hurt a man.

The thought is that there should be equality. Men and women should have equal rights, but traditionally and culturally men has suppressed women. What happens the is that people thinks less of the wrongful things women do to men to "balance" things. It's wrong and it doesn't give women the equal rights they long for.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, probably because that question barely qualifies as english, but if you're referring to physical violence than the distinction is in the obvious unfairness. Men are stronger, period. Women are comparatively helpless. If you're talking about feminism, or just women standing up for themselves, than the answer is that men have NEVER BEEN OPPRESSED. Easy enough, right?

That is the definition of sexism that is practiced by women and is just beginning to be recognized (due to the much celebration of "political correctness" becoming out of vogue and dying an oh-not-so-slow-death.
It is the same discrimination that reeks of, "NEVER ASK" "How are American Blacks racist?"
Leonidas3, BOY DO YOU HAVE IT ON THE MARK! I noticed how overly-sensitive to sexism and racism the generation that was 20ish in the 80's were!!!! I applaud you for noticing two acts that I noticed back then (and now).

Men HAVE rights. There are cases where women rape/molest/attack men... men just rarely report it.
They feel violated, insecure, ect. Some guys feel like it makes them weaker to their friends and family, that they're not "strong enough" because they couldn't fight off a woman (or women).
So they don't like putting that info out there in the open.

Because too many idiots are still stuck on the chauvanistic idea that women are the weaker sex, i.e. they must be protected from the big, bad man.
Personally, all I want is equality...why should it be different based on gender (or sex, skin color, nationality, etc.)? Simple answer? It shouldn't.

That is EQUALLY wrong.
Unfortunately battered husbands and boyfriends are underreported each year because a lot of men are ashamed.
I strongly suggest that you seek help.
Good luck!

You didn't get the memo? Those that are in the majority, don't get rights. Christians, white people, men...it's only females, Jews and black people that get any special rights in America because they have been repressed at some time in history.
That's just the way it works. Fair, right?
