I'm currently at Level 4. I'm pretty proud of myself so far, but I think I will retire this screenname once I get to Level 7, since there is nothing left to accomplish after that level, unless Yahoo!
Answers adds levels where more points are required to reach that level. The best way to accumulate points is to try to get as many Best Answers as possible. This helps you accumulate points more quickly, but Best Answers usually take more time than just regular answers, so I would spend more time on quality of the answers I give , and less time on the quantity. Best Answers are worth 10 points, plus the 2 points you originally get
for answering it. That's 6 times as many points as just a regular
answer, which didn't get voted by the asker or voters as Best
Answer. So, be selective in what you questions you choose to answer, and make sure it is the best possible answer that you
can give for the question after researching it, if you don't know the
answer right away. This helps you spend your time answering
your questions in Yahoo! Answers most effectively. Just take
your time getting to each level, and lead a balanced and happy life. Don't let this website get in the way of more important things
in your life.

I just got to level 4 at 2500 points, and since level 5 is 5000 points I am just going to kick back and answer some questions.
yes I was proud of achieving level 4 but level 5 seems such a long way off I won't even think about it for a few weeks or months
anyway congrats

Oh, yeah! I became maniacal about getting to Level 4, and now I'm at Level 5 and levelling off, if you know what I mean. I need to stop spending so much time on here, so I'm just going to be happy at Level 5 for now and stop trying to get so many points every day. It will happen sooner or later and in due time, so I'm cooling it for now.

I`m almost at level 5. Like you I found it was hard work. I`ve finally come to the realization that YA should be fun. From now on I`m not going to race for points but just sit back and enjoy.

Lol, it takes so long to get to the higher levels - I dont have enough time in a day to answer three thousand questions it'll probably take me 5 years to get to level 7.
