I usted to have longer hair and I had to cut some of it off because it had alot of spilt ends. And all the guys were telling methat I look prettier with longer hair.

Unfortunately they do. A woman's hair is her glory. Each time I have asked this question the answer is yes. While it is not a requirement, they would prefer it. My friend likes to pull my hair during moments of excitement. Now that my hair gets shorter every two weeks, he pulls my ears. lol

It all depends on the style. My main preference is for longer hair, but wouldn't exclude a woman with short hair. as to your friends, chances are they were just so used to you with long hair that it will take a while to adjust to your new look.
Side note: extremely short hair is a common stereotype of lesbians, and it may scare away some people, and attract others even though neither was intended

Long hair is the only way to go, I've never met another man that prefers short hair over long hair. It just makes women more feminine.

long hair with curls is a turn off. its usually the eyes and the smile that makes me more interested. However you could have a butch with short hair, and I'd be just as turned off.

I like long hair, my gf has hers down to the middle of her back. Once she cut it real short, but let grow out again.

Depends on the man. Many men find longer hair more feminine looking, but it all depends on individual taste. Besides, what do you care what they think? As long as YOU think you're pretty.

yeah, they do like long hair.
my man likes my hair long and straight. he does not want me either to cut it or curl it. but he said if it is completely neccessary, he can help me trim my hair so that I won't cut too much ;)
