Seriously...most people that I've heard bashing all Americans did so because they hate Bush. Not all Americans voted for Bush, many disagree with his policies. Yet, there are many people out there that hate all Americans simply because Bush is President.
Personally, I think it's idiotic to hate someone that you've never met or even heard of simply because of their nationality, ethnic background, sexual persuation, gender, etc. Get to know a person first!

I know that hating an entire nationality because you don't like their leader is idiotic at best. I just wonder why people persist in hating others for such ignorant reasons.

If the leader's policies reflect what the majority of people think, then:
1) Why are Bush's ratings so low?
2) Why hate the 'minority' that disagree with those policies?

I can't think of ANY democracies in the world...
In a democracy, all people vote and the votes are tallied to determine who will be the leader, what laws will be passed, etc.
In a republic, the people are represented (i.e. House of Representatives, Senate, House of Parliment, electoral colleges, etc.)
The US is a republic, not a democracy.
