I personally think that Geography is much better, because it's easier to understand and I find it much more interesting studying how the Earth works (I am a nature-lover =])

What do you think? And what do you prefer?

I'd like to say geography, but I was always hopeless at it. We're talking about a person who got lost outside their own home one day ! The painters had been to paint the front of the house and I thought I was in the wrong area. Got to be history. Loved learning about all the old kings and queens of England.

Im a history major - so Im gonna say history although I did briefly consider doing a double with geography. I do like geography but I just find it slightly drier and more point blank than history. There is the ability to think for ones self in history rather than just being fed facts. Although I have heard that geography tends to be a male preference for study - Im not sure why but since you're a guy - that might explain the difference.

I 'prefer' history, simply because overall it is more dynamic. Still, history is so intimately interlinked with geography that you can't get a full grasp of the one without a thorough grounding in the other.

I prefer history because I think it is interesting. Geography is just plain boring.

Let's put it this way, I consider myself an amateur naturalist and historian. I majored in geography in college. Geography and history are interlinked, therefore I love them both equally.
