I have to write an essay about freedom's challenge. It can be about anythnig relating to those two words. It is for the Vetrans of Foriegn Wars so it has to stay positive and not bash the United States. I am a hardcore conservative and I would like to include my opinion in my essay. Please help!!!!

Freedom is the most precious right we as Americans have.
Since the conception of our country. Americans have fought and died for freedom.
The veterans you will be talking to, understand full well the cost of freedom.
For you see, freedom is not free.
All the rights we have and the freedoms we enjoy, have been and still are being paid for with American lives.

Freedom, for those who don't understand it, means freedom from tyranny of one's own government, and nothing else. America is and always will be great. The U.S. Government, on the other hand, is a fatally corrupt despotic monster that is repugnant to the Constitution and must be once again put in its place by the Will of the People.
There is nothing more pathetic than those who proudly proclaim "Freedom!" not realizing that they themseves have none. They can't even answer what freedom they are talking about.

Here is a challenge for you. Why does it have to say how wonderful America is? Write what you find facts that you can base on your conviction, whether America is wonderful or otherwise.
Freedom of thought is a challenge, isn't it.

School is to political don't believe everything teachers tell you, politicians run them, and they are made to say what they are told. There is no such thing as freedom in this country. There is freedom that is monitored by people above you, we are watched all the time, is that freedom?
