My mom has a co-worker that lives in San Bernadino and says it never goes below 50 degrees. And someone who is trying to give my dad a job says it is mostly 70 degrees year round. Plus they say there is never snow and ice which means really no more defrosting.

Well I live in the Central Valley of Cali and during the winter time it never snows here. Its mostly foggy and rainy from time to time and there is frost but that is about it. Temperature doesn't go below 30 degrees.

It really depends on what part of Cali you're in. Southern California can actually be pretty sunny and warm at times. I live in Northern CA, and usually it's in the 40's or 50's and foggy or rainy. We get the most rain in late January and February. Fog usually settles in around Christmas time. Most of the time it's heaviest in the early mornings and night. If you are in the Eastern Sierras, you're likely to find snow in the winter. Storms in and around Tahoe can easily bring 2 to 3 feet.

I live in the mojave desert......so we get very little rain....sometimes snow....otherwise it's windy and in the 20s and 30 at night and barely 60 during the day. And the humidity is very low so there is hardly any ice build up from frost.
