No one would be able to rebuild Iraq after the American occupation...

The American governemt loves abolishing and destruction of other nations, so there would be no repairing of anything

It may be presumptuous to assume that Iraq will ever be rebuilt. That is not to say that the United States will not try to rebuild it but rather, anything built by the United States including a Democratic Government will be opposed by our enemies who will continue to tear away at anything we build, be it infrastructure of electrical and water systems and most especially a Democratic form of Government. (Democracy)

Most people thought when we invaded Iraq that the war would be won when we defeated the Iraqi military. The President even tried to capitalize on that when he said, on that aircraft carrier, that we won the war. (what he really meant by those words was we have defeated the Iraqi military) In that sense, we won the war pretty easily.

Now we are fighting a war to win the peace. Many Americans, perhaps most Americans, believe this to be doubtful. Since it is far easier to tear something apart than to build and that time is on the side of the enemy. Meaning we have to build it right now to say we won. They have until the end of time to tear it apart and claim victory.

the never ending what?
war is when you have two comparable opponents. a few thousand foreighners trying to turn a country into an islamic goulag is not a "war". The same as the crips gang does not wage a war inside the US.
Be it as it may, the damage is being fixed as we speak. nothing much to rebuild- unless you mean the removing the damage done during the dozens of years of misuse by Saddam's people.
