Just curious because its 69.99...but I found one at a different place thats 5 usb ports...but its 25$. Is the quality that much better?

Well the thing is...all my usb is outdated...and I wanted hi-speed usb...and I do have 2 firewire...and 8 usb...lol...but I need faster for external hard drives. And im using 5 of the usb ones right now...Mouse, printer, scanner, game controller, external hard drive...and sometimes a camera.

Hardly anything uses firewire except for cameras and camcorders. shouldn't your case have a firewire slot for connecting to a firewire header on your motherboard? anyway, get the $70 card, you'll never need 5 usb slots

there will be 2 capability connectors going from the capability furnish to the motherboard. One has 20 or 24 pins (an prolonged connector) and one has in easy terms 4 or 6 pins. I advise you disconnect after which re-connect the smaller one after which retry a boot. The smaller connector powers the CPU and no count if it quite is not linked precise it could have the effect you describe. in any different case it quite is a fault with the capability furnish unit (wanting alternative capability furnish)
