does she like music? you can get her a CD if you know what she likes or a gift certificate to Hastings or Walmart. If you don't want to spend too much money or time, a Gift Cert is the best way to go.

Girls love jewelry, makeup, nail polish etc. I'd suggest buying her some inexpensive earrings, necklace set. I remember getting Love's Baby Soft perfume when I was young. If you get her perfume, just make sure it's intended for younger girls. You'll want flowery or "baby lotion" smell, not real fragrant perfume.

i'm a 13 year old girl, and my birthday was last week. get her an i-pod. if she already has one, get her an ihome. it's a stereo system for your ipod. thats wat i got. i love it. or get her a gift setificate to the mall near you. or money everybody likes money. also, you can get her something alive like a gerbil or a snake. she would like a hamster probably, and they're not to expensive, cage included.
