I had a molar pregnancy and according to my HCG levels I was about 51/2 to 6 weeks when it finally was expelled, my hcg levels were rising but at a slow rate my doctor wasn't concerned about it at first so he kept retesting every 3 days or so. I was experiencing some regular pregnancy symptoms and then as the days progressed they started to fade away and then one day I had some spotting and within a couple of days I experienced a miscarriage from the day I started spotting I had alot of cramping in my back as well as my stomach. But keep in mind a Molar Pregnancy is not a true pregnancy so you are technically not loosing a baby. Oh and since everything didn't come out I had to have a D&C done 2 days later. Hope this helps

Just some advice. My daughter went to her ob in the early months of her pregnancy and was diagnosed with a molar pregnancy because the fetus did not appear in the ultrasound. She caused my daughter to become hysterical. My daughter than went to the bathroom and came back. The md decided to have another look and up popped the fetus. Molar pregancy can be confirmed by ultrasound but make sure your bladder is full and then empty before believing the results. Make the md really study that ultrasound and give it time. My daughter also had vaginal bleeding at the time. I now have a happy healthy granddaughter and the md was going to abort the molar pregancy. Be on guard.
