Almost everybody has ascribed the growing craving for fast food to the mounting laziness of men(and of course the women). This is indeed a sad reflection. The people who stretch the 24 hours day longer to complete the work can by no logic be called lazy people. The bitter truth is that we have to run fast, faster and still faster just to remain at the same place. Physics says even a stationery aricles is in speed the only thing being that the rate of speed is zero. The same thing happends here --all our breakneck speed is just adequate for keeping us statonery .And when you are running a race and want to stay ahead you cannot lose time in such luxuries as eathing. The runners just sip something on the way to recoup their lost energy so that they may not lag behind. Time is chasing us and we have to run just to save ourselves. Who has time to think over what one eats? The long and short is that in the process of eating the precise purpose of eathing has been lost. The Table Manners do not count becuse all are buffet parties.

I personally don't, but I see people do this, and it kind of makes me sick! When I eat at a McDonalds, I am hungry an hour later, so I don't usually eat there. It's really bad for our bodies, and I think all the food at McDonalds tastes the same. Yuck! I also think laziness plays a part in it....I honestly don't know what the attraction is.

I don't know if you can call a lot of "FAST FOOD" restaurants, fast these days but I think people go to them out of habit more than for any other reason.

Our modern life has become extremely busy. Fast food is convenient and full of things that our taste buds crave like fats, salt, and carbohydrates. Like smoking or any other bad habit, our body begins to crave it and become somewhat addicted to it and it seems to feel good. The problem is that we don't think clearly and realize that the damage to our health is not immediate but will show up in later years.

because the life is become so fast that fast food outlets have become a a way of life.
people usually don't find time to cook food may be because they are living alone or may be because they both are working.
people may find the taste better than the home made food.
the trend has come from western world but now it has become part of our lives too.

It's quick and easy. In today's world, people are all sooooo busy, and have little time to cook. When your hungry, your hungry. Whats easier cooking a meal in about 45min, then having to wash dishes or picking up something and throwing away the trash?

Americans seem to be getting lazier by the day but throw in a busier lifestyle and schedules then not many people have time to cook or sit down for a well prepared meal.

Because there is not enough time in the day to cook for yourself. With the Internet and gaming and a 2000.00 house payment and the 500.00 car payment.

People are over indulging for everything because of social status. Man humans are stupid creatures.

since people have no time to make food people go out and eat fast food which is cheaper than healthy food in restaurants and slowly get addicted to its taste, healthy nutritious food is hard to make and is costly.
