Gravity keeps us firmly on the ground. The earths spinning provides a centrifugal (outwards) force that "tries" to make us fly off into space. Fortunately we aren't spinning anywhere near faster enough for centrifugal force to beat gravity.
However, if the earth were to stop spinning then it would have significant effects on the earth's weather system and ecosystem (since half the earth would be stuck in darkness for an extremely long time). It seems unlikely that humanity would be able to survive such a disaster. Let's hope it doesn't happen!
(btw, I assumed in answering this question you were on about the earth stopping spinning on it's axis. If it were to stop spinning around the sun we would fall into the sun and all perish).

The spinning of a body has nothing to do with gravity. If u have 2 spacecraft orbiting the earth within 100 ft of each other. they will attract each other. they are not spinning. WE have trouble with ionized gas collecting around a space craft till we were only able to command the spacecraft near the earth's ionization zone.

We are attached to Earth because of gravity force that depends mainly on the mass of Earth (small variations because of rotation of earth, anomalies in densities crust, etc).
This means if Earth stops spinning, gravity will not disappear. The only thing that will have a little change is the direction of gravity.

If the earth stopped spinning suddenly, your inertia would not send you into space, but the calamity would kill you (much worse than a plane crash, combined with a 9.9 earthquake).

We would not at all fly off.
You need to know a lot of physics to understand the answer to this question. So I guess you will have to wait for a few years to understand what would happen.
But for now..........
We do not fly of because something(a force) keeps us where we are.
And this something does not happen because the earth is spinning.
The reason why this something happens is very complicated.

we wouldnt fly off. even if it did stop spining(which it wont) gravity would still be here holding us down.
