My roommate and I were in our room yesterday when his gf and a girl I like came over. The 2 girls both played basketball in hs and we were teasing them. One thing led to another and we were soon playing 2 on 2. We lost and we made a foolish bet. Both this week and next they get to dress us up for Halloween parties and they said this week would be prom gowns next week would be miniskirts and both weeks we'd get "the works". We tried talking them out of it, but we're stuck. When I asked what "the works" mean they both laughed and just said "you'll see". So what is the works? My roommate is ready to kill me for egging them on with my trash talking that he blames for getting us into this spot in the first place, but he was doing it too.

The works as I'm familiar with means 'everything'. When ordering a hamburger it meant everything you could possibly put on a hamburger, i e., relish, mayo, mustard, etc., went on it.
Soooo, with your being dressed up with 'the works', I'd imagine, lipstick, rouge, eyeliner, boobs, curly hair and anything creative the ladies can think up.
