Ok, so i bought this pelican TSZ game pad. i plugged it into my dell and the controller started to install itself. after it installed, it said it was installed "improporly" every time i plug in my controller to my dell it doesnt want know that it's their, so, how do i reinstall it?

The problem you're having is a driver problem. The computer is detecting the device and attempting to use whatever pre-loaded driver files it had.

I'm assuming that you do not have a CD for this device. If this assumption is wrong and you do have a CD for it, then insert the CD and install the appropriate driver from the CD (should start-up with autorun).

If there is no CD, then you will need to search for the appropriate driver for your controller. Start by trying the manufacturer's website. If you don't have any luck there, you can try http://www.driverguide.com/ or check out any bulleting boards that may have other users of the same controller. A lot of times those users will have a cache of information related to driver files for the devices that they discuss and use.
