Even if you didn't sure here take a quarter. One of the joys of living is to give a person in need some money. Especially today because it tends to freak people out that someone would be so caring.
For example, we had a festival in our city and I live a couple of blocks from the site. I left my house about 7:30 Saturday morning (the festival kicked off Friday evening and the crowds were enormous) to find a college student with a half bottle of wine standing on the corner. He was still wasted from the night before. I asked him if he was alright. He replied that he got separated from his group and they left him stranded. I asked him how he was fixed for money and he replied that he spent his money. I gave him 10 bucks and directed him where he could get something to eat and they would have a pay phone so that he could call his firends. The dude was in shock. He thanked me and I told him no problem in that I had been there and done that.
