If you think about it, there were lots of shows or movies that seemed to be inspired by the 60's 007 phenomenon. Here is just a partial list off the top of my head:

Get Smart
Wild Wild West
I Spy
Man From UNCLE
Matt Helm movies (NOT the books)
The Avengers
Our Man Flint movies
Secret Agent Man
The Prisoner
and many more, I'm sure

So, how about it? Which of these Sixties' era spy shows/movie series did you enjoy the most?

I would say Our Man Flint...I sorta liked James Colburn in those films..I also thought Man From Uncle was cool...and Emma Peel of The Avengers has to have the most sexed up siren in that category...also you ever notice how close to the cat-woman costume her leather outfit was?
Oh and in the honorable mention category is the steamy urbane Thomas Crown Affair with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway...love the chess scene!

I loved the Matt Helm movies. Dean Martin was soooo smooth. I remember one scene with costar Stella Stevens...they're kissing on a round bed that tilts up and they slide down into a pool! Those were great movies...haven't seen one in a long time. For TV, Wild Wild West was my favorite. I really liked the B&W ones the most for the creative special effects.
