The Heimlich maneuver on yourself. You can d this with a chair, by standing behind it and pushing your stomach down on it, or you can use your hands and thrust up into your stomach. You can also use the edge of a countertop, or any hard surface, but make sure it is not sharp and damaging to your stomach.
I hope this helps, and it never happens to you!

This has happened to me a few times, but at least I was not alone. I ended up coughing really hard and the food came flying out of my mouth. Some tears also came out of my eyes. I was thinking, should I choke when alone, I would hit myself in the chest as hard as I could or take someone else's advice and throw myself backward into a wall. Ouch!

Once this happened to me and I threw myself, quite hard, against the kitchen counter so my diaphragm would force air out. Kind of like performing the Heimlich maneuver on yourself. It was enough to dislodge the item from my throat and resolved the choking.
That was a good warning because now, when I am along, I eat things that are easily chewed, chew well and do not take big bites.

If you are choking to the extent that you can not breathe, and you are alone, make a fist with your right hand. Grasp your right fist with your left hand. Put the tip of your baby finger on the right hand at the top of your waistband, about where your naval would be. Roll your right fist, still griped by your left hand, toward your chest. Press inward and upward, as hard as possible, for at least five times, or until the obstruction clears. Call the paramedics, and get transport to the hospital.

If u choke on something and you are alone, you get over to a chair or something at stomach level and practically jump on with your stomach ... that will then force what ever is in your throat out. Hurts like hell but it's better then sitting their choking

Pray or back up into a wall really fast to cause a burst of wind or bind yourself over a chair and slam it into your stomach with quick thrusts. You might just get lucky. I would suggest chewing food cautiously when alone to prevent this from happening

Remember "Mama" Cass Elliott of the 60's rock group, "The Mamas and The Papas"? Ask her. If Mama Cass had given that ham sandwich to Karen Carpenter, we'd have two more rock stars alive today.

Use the couch and bend over it- or a chair. Don't panic. I always had a slight fear of this- especially while pregnant- always scared I'd choke on my pills!
