I am new to games as these. I get to where she is free from slavery. how can i get her ring back and go to the academy?

The academy is in Veldarah, a town northeast of Galarah (the starting town). You have to go through the woods to get there. You'll just have to look around for it; I'm no good at giving precise directions. You can't get the ring back until after you finish your trial to become an apprentice. The first time you sleep after completing the trial, you'll have a dream where the priestess tells you to put on the ring. Now if you go to the junk dealer (the shop with a key on the sign) in Veldarah, he's selling the ring. The woman the slave dealer sold it to thought it was junk, so he's selling it pretty cheap. Buy the ring from him.
