How to enter a room that may contain hostiles.
How to control a crowd.
How to search an area or a building.
How to use two by two cover formation.
How to tell if someone is lying to you.
How to disarm I.E.D.s
How to shoot a vehicle to disable it.
These and many other fun things are being taught to the Iraqi Defense Force every day in the hopes that someday we will be able to leave Iraq without having the country implode as soon as we're gone.

no, it just means they try to teach them to run real fast when a car pulls up close to them

They're trained to enfore law, protect people, etc.
