I believe the President's current salary is $400,000/yr, and has been since George W Bush became Pres. (Previously it was $200k, and a raise was instituted during the Clinton admin, but didn't go into effect until he left office.)

pay for the administration, etc. paid for by all tax payers

the one who won't do it would be the best at it.
