Browncoats unite! Joss Whedon is unparallelled when it comes to writing. Although its unlikely that a movie sequel will be made, I wouldn't rule out other continuations of Mal's journey. Whedon has already created an eighth season for Buffy in comic book form; its very possible that he might choose to revive the Firefly series that way as well....and even go back to the period before the events in Serenity that way, including more backstory for characters such as Shepherd Book.

Can't stop the signal!

I know it well, have it on DVD as well as the follow up movie Serenity. Sadly I saw some where that Joss Whedon has stated that there will NOT be a second film, as Serenity has yet to recoup all of its costs.( I think it was on the crawl during AOTS, on G4)

Yes. Long ago. Gone. Lasted one season. And yes it was great. However, it did have a spin-off movie, Serenity, of which I believe there will be sequel, so maybe not quite the end...

Yes, great show. Sci-fi meets the Old West. Also I noticed that the fan base was a lot more mixed, gender-wise, then the typical fan base of other sci-fi shows.

it is a pity "Sarah Connor" replaced into axed. acceptable, thrilling sequence. yet "Heroes," which has been interior the sh*tter for over a season, is going on. Fox ought to have given it a lil greater time -- the Christian Bale movie is going to restore pastime interior the franchise. i'm unlikely to be too frustrating on "American Idol," nonetheless. I take excitement in it for what it is and that's a great lead-in for certainly one of my famous new sequence, "Fringe." at cases it is solid to have one vast, quite-fed on hit human beings can rally around. i'm apprehensive NBC won't renew "Medium," what with the great-chinned, skunk-haired comedian (sorry, Jay) getting a on a daily basis 10pm application. "Medium" is so underrated -- the acceptable combination of horror, fable, and actual-existence drama.

Yes, it was great and I was sad when they cancelled it. But I suspect it was Fox who cancelled it, not God.
