Wow, a question up my alley. I love using chop sticks and I can even pick up rice with them. With time you will get better using them, if you really want to learn how to use them why not use them with every meal? That is how I learned. :)

Yes I have and one should learn to use chopsticks. It is quite easy once someone shows you how to hold the chopsticks. As a side note, Asian culture regards western use of silverware as barbaric. So, I always ask for chopsticks when dining at an Asian restaurant just to throw it back at them.
