1. Turn the quotient (second number) into a fraction and turn it upside-down.

2. Multiply both numbers.

e.g. 75 / 0.5
0.5 = 1/2
1/2 > 2/1 = 2
75 x 2 = 150

e.g. 4.27 / 0.07
0.07 = 7/100
7/100 > 100/7
4.27x100/7 = 61

you should move the decimal point of the divisor until it become a whole number and do the same to your dividend. then annex as much zeroes as needed for the dividend if there is not enough digits to place the decimals

so if you move 1 decimal place to the right like to 75divided by 0.5
it will become then add one 0 to 75
75/0.5 = 750/5
150

4.27 divided by0.07
move two decimal places for both of them
would then become
4.27/0.07 = 427/7
61

74.4 divided by 0.08
would then become
7440/8
930
and so on

now try it yourself

In your first example 75/.5 multiply both by 10 and you have 750/5 = 150.

2. 4.27/.07 multiply by 100 427/7 = 61

3. 74.4/.08 again muliply by 100 (move the decimal point 2 places to the right) 7440/8 = 930

Check those answers with a calculator - my mental arimethic isn't what it used to be! lol But remember to multiply by 10 move the decimal point 1 place right, by 100 - 2 places, by 1000 - 3 places.

75/0.5 =150/1 =150(multiply the numerator and denominator
by2-that way you are dealing with integers)

4.27/0.07=427/7=61(multiply the numerator and denominator by 100-we are again dealing with integers)

74.4/0.08=7440/8=930(same again-we work with integers)

i hope that this helps

If I understand your right:
1)
75/0,5; try to transform the denominator to an integer by multiply with 2
75/0,5=150/1=150

2)
4,27/0,07 again multiply both numerator and denominator with 100 and get:
427/7=61

3)74,4/0,08 multiply with 100 in numerator and denominator and get
7440/8=930

Always try to transform the denominator into an Integer.

Can't follow your notation here but try this.
75 Divided by 0.25.

make .25 into a whole number by multiplying by 100. which makes it 25.
What you do with one you must do to the other so multiply75 by 100 which makes it 7500

Now divide 7500 by 25 = 300
Hope this helps

.25/4 = .0625 by calculator 15 / 4 = x / 100 100/4= 25 15 x 25 = 375 375/100 = 375%

Express the decimal as a fraction and perform the division the way you learned in 4th or 5th grade
