I have the Sally Hansen microwaveable hot wax for the face. When I apply it to my upper lip, it goes on too thick and I cant pull it off easily. Any suggestions:?

warm it a bit more........this will make a hot wax thin .....make sure it is not too hot..................when applying on skin apply quickly from one end to other.

thick wax on the skin put more pressure on skin.

I have not used this wax..if it still does not work .buy other brand.

If the wax is coming too thick then its not hot enough. heat it up a bit more and test on your inner wrist to check the temperature.

Next time onwards you may want to buy those ready wax strips which are much easier to use as they don't need heating up.

Use a popsicle stick or a smooth, non sharp butter/ kitchen knife to spread the wax, and heat it a little more. Usually wax that doesn't spread on thin enough isn't hot enough.

if it goes on in a big glob & gets all stringy, it's not the right temperature. try putting it on when it's a little warmer, but make sure you test it on your wrist first!
