In my corner of the world we call it pop, but back in the old days we called in soda, but it all boils down to the fact that they mean the same. A soda today in my corner of the world means ice cream mixed with pop, so therefore it's a soda pop.

I'm from Wisconsin, and most people say pop. So it actually kinda bothers me when people are bothered by me saying pop instead of soda. I think that makes sense.

When I was young about 10 years old. I was at my moms friends house and they had family from Colorado over. We was sitting at the table just chatting catching up. When this woman from there ask mom if she what some dope...now in my eyes at the time of innocence when mom said yes..my mouth dropped to the floor. After she give mom some coke a cola I ask for some and she said I just ask u if u wanted some dope!! LOL

Not really...Different strokes for different folks. It's like I've always called a shopping cart just that--a shopping cart, but I've lived in places where I've heard it called a buggy, a trolley and a roller. Doesn't bother or effect me, and it's interesting to see how many different names there are for a thing.
: )

It's F'ing Pop.
POP
POP
POP
POP
Its not Soda.
But really it all depends on where you live, I think more mainstream place call it soda, while small towns and cities call it pop.
It all depends on you geography.
