Me none. I don’t like to let people into my life. If you do there’s the chance they can screw you. I’d rather be the screwier than the screwed. I have aquatintices, people I speak to here and there. People that I’m cordial to. I must just be a cold and indifferent person.

I am the same as you in a way; it takes a lot for me to consider someone my true friend. But, outside of family, I have 5.
My best friend for 13 years. She's been there for me through everything; good or bad. We have always stood by each other no matter what.
My other true friend, I met only about 6 months after my best friend. She has always been there for me also; no matter what, even though she's 20 years older than me. She's helped me so much that I couldn't ever possibly repay her.
2 of them I have only known almost a year. I was very lucky to meet her and her fiance. They are among the greatest people I've ever known. I'm lucky to have them.
My boyfriend is my best friend too. We have been through so much together, and we can tell each other anything. God really must love me to give him to me.♥
As for family, my Mom is also my best friend. I tell her everything; and she is always there for me!
I have been very blessed to have as many true, loving people in my life that I have. However, I have been stabbed in the back more times than I can count by people that I thought were my "friends"; so now I no longer take friendship lightly. There's many people I talk to casually, but like I said, it takes a lot for me to consider a person my truer than true friend!

i agree. it really difficult to find a good and true friend in this world. someone who will backed u up, who will be there when u need them the most..
you may have plenty of friends but perhaps 1 out the many is a true friend.
have to accept the fact, friends come and go. in fact, friends also turn their back against each other. they backstab each other.

I have 4 "true friends." These are people I know I could call for bail money at 4am and they would get me outta jail, no questions asked. Thankfully I haven't had to call them, but I know that if I did, they would be there for me...and I for them, if the need ever arose.

I don't have any either. I decided last year when my dad died not to waste time on folks that don't really care about me. So I guess i eliminated a lot of family too.

you know what, i always have this idea in my mind that if my so-called friends have to choose between me and another friend who they would choose. and so far, i believe only person would choose me over any other friend.
so, i guess i have 1. the others well.. they are good friends but i dont think they'll go through hell with me.

How sad. I would say about 40 who would come to my aid at a moments notice, they have my back and I have theirs. And I'm sure I have not thought of every one. To have this kind of friend you need to BE that kind of friend. It makes life wonderful and worth living.

i have 2 true friends. they are there when i need them and i am there for them. i can tell them anything and i know it will be held in confidence. it is very rare to have a true friend. once you get one it is a true blessing.
