Clinton's investigation/ impeachment was a political witchhunt, he did perjure himself though.

Many moderate political leaders warned the Republicans at the time of Clinton's impeachment that if they continued it, the impeachment process would forever be tainted. After all, the most severe punishment that a Congress can impose against a president is an impeachment and then trial in the U.S. Senate. They told them that if they impeached Clinton that the impeachment proceedings could be used for any little transgression on the part of the president, therefore diluting the power of the impeachment.
I don't believe that Clinton's lying in the ffront of the grand jury was jusfified as an impeachment, because it was a personal matter, not a matter of national security or one that would affect Americans. He should have been censured, no doubt, but impeachment went too far.
Bush has subverted the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights in his "war on terror" and the worst thing he has done is refused to administer laws that Congress has approved. These signing statements in which he states that he doesn't need to carry out various laws he doesn't agree with is dangerous, because HE is deciding that he won't execute them and that smacks of presidential arrogance, hubris and hurts the balance of power in the U.S. government.
I am worried that if we decide to impeach Bush, as bad as he is, then every president will have calls for their impeachment when they do something the opposition doesn't like.

Clinton's impeachment was justified if the moral standards of America were practiced by all. The man made sound political choices so I really don't care what he was doing with his.... If we had impeached very President for morals, no one would have held office for very long. Look at Jefferson, Lincoln, Kennedy...all had skeletons in the closet. I even feel sorry for the idiot in Florida because this has been made a politcal issue instead of what it really is...a crime. Should Bush be impeached? Yes. He has put our planet on the menu. Environmental issues such as global warming, the endangered species act in jeapardy, pulling out of the SALT treaty etc etc. He is not dicking around and pretends to be religious (although you never see the media covering him coming out of church) but he is working at destroying not just our environment but the environment of the world. Our overseas relations are trashed and we, as Americans, are hated everywhere. Yes he sould be impeached.

There is no just cause for impeaching Bush. The Clinton impeachement wasn't justified, they were only trying to hurt him and nobody cared that he lied under oath. It doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see Bush impeache but I know it will only hurt the democrats.

Impeach him for what reason? His actions were committed due to what was presented to him by the intelligence briefs he was given. What is all the next Presidents supposed to do? Constantly worry about them being impeached? Did it do ANY good to impeach Clinton? Did he lose his life-long stipend or other benefits? NO! It just cost us tax payers millions of dollars for the "special" committees to investigate then impeach him!
Want to do something that will shock the heck out of all of them? Vote only for non-incumbents and make your vote for Independents...besides, the Democrats AND Republicans have had more than 200 years to fix the problems in our country and they just keep messing things up...let's get rid of them...let's change their benefit packages closer to what the rest of us Amercans can get...let's see how they like that!

Cause for Bush , yes. He has violated treaties (Geneva Conventions), the constitution (unwarranted wire taps, phone records) and human rights (see Gitmo Bay prisoner treatment). and federal law (see Valery Plame CIA agent.)
As to whether or not he is called to task on it remains to be seen. If nothing else is done he should lose his federal pension of $200,000 per year. Don't forget Cheney either.
Clinton's impeachment was a joke, the American people saw through it and so did the Senate (Republican controlled even.)

He did lie under oath. Do you honestly believe that obstructed justice? More to the point, do you think a guy getting a bj from someone who isn't his wife is rare? Should all those people lose their jobs? Come on ...

There's no law against having sex with a woman that is not your wife, in the oval office. He did lie, but who wouldn't?
GWB used false representation to invade a country for his own purposes, costing the US BILLIONS of dollars. Clinton lied, and nobody got hurt. How many US citizens have died...12,000?

Bush has done nothing wrong.
Clinton lied under oath to God, and committed perjury.
If Clinton hadn't been a Democrat, he would have went to prison, just like any of us if we committed perjury.
