carrying higher?? And also, how do you know if your carrying the baby towards your back? How does that happen???

I've always been told it has to do with how you're pelvis is shaped. Of course, if you are far along in the pregnancy and you suddenly "drop" the baby is just moving into position.

I have never heard of the position of the baby being related to your uterus. It varies with each woman how they carry their baby. One way is not more "normal" than another.
