Would that I could. Wait a minute....I can. Maybe I should. I have my own company and just look how much time I spend on Y/A. I would fire any of my employees for doing the same. Now that I think about it..I have really good insurance...sooooo, I'm thinking. Sexual harassment. I spend a lot of time in the bathroom, having to give into the needs and desires of the boss. Verbal harassment comes to mind. How many times a day do I call myself stupid? Well, many. Yeah, thanks for the idea. Screw the production. I'm gonna make a fortune by suing my a** off.

In America, absolutely. There are lawyers waiting in line to handle your grievance claim and sue the pants off somebody over it. You may also collect unemployment benefits, collect backpay when the judge rules in your favor, and sign up with Cobra if necessary. Come April 15 you will be entitled to a generous tax write-off for any losses incurred.

Yes, he can fire himself, but no, he cannot file a grievance claim.

I don't see why you couldn't fire yourself. But I don't think you could get unemployment...but then again the person doing the firing has to sign some papers for you to get unemployment. I'm sure you could talk him into it!
