With the upcoming stars and former WWE superstars in TNA now,I'm beginning to think TNA might be the next WCW and be a big time competitor of WWE (about time for a new Monday night war,I'd say!)Any thoughts here?

to answer your question: yes
tna has come a long way since it started airing on tv and i must give them props for producing such electricity and atheletithism in their compressed one hour time slot
kudos to jim cornette and tna management starting this november tna will extend its televised duration into 2 hours which is inly fair because with the current (1 hr) there are so many talented wrestlers left out!
tna will rise to the top gradually, hopefully they'll get some better deals with more broadcasters and will restaff their advertising team because just like wwe, tna's got a whole lot of improving to do
i cant wait for the shining days of tna to actually happen because if that's the case then wwe will also fight to survive and us wrestling fans will have something more exciting to watch!

am not so sure, i hope they do become the new wcw but the reason alot of wrestler's they have are only with tna because they dont tour around the state's. they only stay in the same arena for show's which am sure suits the wrestlers and there familys staying in the same town and not on the road all the time that is the reason aj styles never moved to the wwe.. if they did start touring am not so sure they would keep the wrestlers they have for the money they pay them.. i also think that if they did become the new wcw vince would buy them out after a couple of years because he can he has the money there is no way vince wants another competitor

It'll be awhile, but yes. I watched TNA the other night, I liked it. The quality of the wrestlers is great. They ACUTALLY wrestle! How about that? I've always been a Sting fan, it's nice to see him back, and as the NWA champ. I'm really impressed with Christopher Daniels. Samoa Joe/Angle feud has been great so far. I miss the Monday Night Wars. That's when wrestling was at it's best. The 2 trying to outdo each other. That's the way it should be. Just need to get more people to tune into TNA, then we will have what we all want again.

I wouldn't say "next WCW" coz WCW did eventually run out of business remember?

I would say "new wrestling alternative" "next big thing" "future major competitor"

I'd say give them 2 more years to build their brand, they're still on a one-hour time slot and are moving to prime time for the first time next month. They can't even tour the country yet.

ADD:
actually i think vince does miss competition. I've recently seen the McMahon DVD and the wrestlers mention vince has lost his fire since the end of the MNW. That's probably why he keeps on expanding with WWE films and albums. Vince said himself that it wasn't his intention to be the only wrestling superpower. Note that WCW was the one who struck the first blow against WWE and it is only natural to retailiate.

That is also what i am disappointed in TNA about. They keep taking shots at WWE. I know it isn't what it used to be but if TNA keeps taking shots at them then they may end up like WCW.

TNA should just focus on themselves and continue to develop the great things they are doing!

Time will tell...they are growing and expanding. I think it would
be beneficial, not only to the industry as a whole, but even to the WWE. The reality is WWE was thriving more when WCW was facing off against them in the Monday Night Wars, and to a lesser extent when ECW was also in the mix. The fact of the matter is interest in the WWE dropped, not increased when WCW and ECW were absorbed by the WWE. Let's just hope
TNA continues to grow and get better over time. The wrestling
shown on TNA is great. Petey Williams' piledriver is something
I have never seen before, where he flips over his opponent and then piledrives him in one seamless fluid motion. The X-Division
is innovative, as well as the six-sided ring. They are definitely on the right path.

TNA has its own nitche yes they got a good play by play man from WCW (and a nice guy too) but what makes them stand out is that they are not trying to imitate any other wrestling organization. Shark Boy is a cult favorite, Jeff Jarrett is, was, and always will be a jackass, Samoa Joe is a fan favorite especially from the start and he was trying hard to be a heel at that time, AJ Styles is a fantastic wrestler, Raven, Sting, Kevin Nash (but when did Kirk Angel show up?).

TNA does NOT have the resources to stage a monday night war with WWE. The fans get in for free at their Orlando Studios arena (even the PPV from what I was told) and they are on a lower tier cable netowrk (Spike TV) and even shows late at night (11pm et i think) . I wish I could watch more TNA becuase it is better than WWE.

I just saw that they are moving to Thursdays night at 9pm starting Nov 19th (good move)

Yes,TNA will be the next WCW,TNA is gonna go bankrupt and will be bought out by the WWE.Vince is way too smart to let TNA surpass it,that's why he refuse to retire. If Shane,HHH or Stephanie is incharge,TNA might have a chance to be a major competitor.
