I bought a stupid leather Russian hat that didn't even fit me from a stall in St Petersberg. It was from a market and I went in with a predisposed do good help the local peasants sort of attitude. It has a silly minimal, semi military leather peak and ear flaps that button up when not covering the ears. I paid stupid money.( US Dollars for some reason, I'm UK)
It is unwearable. I keep it as a reminder of my own foolishness.

Once i was sold a battery in Russia that was supposed to be AAA. I put it in my mp3 player and it didn't work, so i assumed that it was too weak for a digital appliance. On closer inspection, it wasn't really a battery, just a cylindrical piece of metal. That would have to be one of the worst things I've ever bought.

Cheap stuff from the 'market place' in Ikea. I always pick something on my way out and then I get home I realise that I never needed it, but it was so cheap and colourful. Damn those pesky Swedes.
