I've never taken the test before, and I'm afraid I might fail and waste the money. How easy or hard is it? If its hard, where can I get something to study for it? Thanks!

Don't worry you'll be fine. It's not hard just study and use your common since. Don't forget to study some of the laws. As to where, you could go to the dot or a driver's licence place and get a book. By the way pick me up a motor cycle book. :)

No. Florida did away with the DMV (run by the state troopers). You have to visit your local county tax office that does the testing. Go to your county website (google 'your county' tax collector i.e. manatee county tax collector) and browse the site for your local offices and the services they provide.
