Your husband is an attention addict. He likes to feel wanted and likes the non-committal flirtations to make him feel better about himself. It's a horrible and destructive way to do this, but chronic womanizers eventually over time will inevitably go all the way unless he's willing to talk to someone about it. This is more serious than you think. It's a selfish and insulting approach to life.

You are a married man. Sex is a natural, wonderful gift, handed to us from God himself. Why do you think that God said be fruitful & multiply? You think that people multiply without sex? Do you think that animals in the wild are sinning because they mate? The institution of marriage was created to allow you to have sex on a regular basis, with your mate. Without sex, you may as well move in with your sister. You are not a priest. Heck, even priests are not celibate these days, ask the altar boys.... Sex with your mate is not a sin. If the church is telling you otherwise, find a different church. It will not make you respect women more. It will make you and your wife miserable. She may decide to leave you because you do not desire her anymore. You cannot stop your sex drive. If it has stopped, something is very wrong with you. Go see a doctor. Don't blame this on God.... He paired us all up for a reason. Adam & Eve????? Ever heard of those two? OMG... I cannot believe that this is a real question. You have to be trolling, because this is a question that is beyond ridiculous.

He is lying. ALL men have fantasies about being with other women...there's nothing you can do about that. HOPING to have sex with others is another matter entirely, so please look at this in the right way. After 10 years together it is possible that he feels you are no longer as attracted to him as you once were, so he feeds his ego by flirting. Flirting is natural and healthy, but you feel he is going too far. I think he is playing a dangerous game. One of these days, one of the "ladies" (and I use that term loosely) is gonna come and collect on his flirtations-what will he do?

Oh dear darling, I think we have a problem don't you..?
You've spelled out how you feel and he has lied to you. You pushed the issue and when confronted with his lie- he has lied again.
I would seek professional marriage counselling if you love him and want to be with him.
But if it was me and my wife acted in this manner- I'm affraid I would be un able to trust (hence continue to be her husband), her again.
I am so sorry for you. I hope things turn out for the best and you manage to find some happiness in your life. It is obvious that you deserve someone much more loyal and honourable.

I would like to offer a solution to your situation. I agree with the other members about your husband flirting and lieing to you. I would sit him down in a very quiet place with no distractions and confront him about how his flirting makes you feel and how it hurts you. I would also state the next time he flirts you will confront his coworkers on their flirting and e mbarrase him in front them. I would also act on it the next time it occurs. I WOULD SIT DOWNWITH HIM EVERY FEW DAYS AND CONFRONT HIM EACH DAY until the message is loud and clear. If the flirting still continues I WOULD CONSIDER ENDING THE MARRAIGE or seek serious marraige counseling. Also you must fix this problem now before you have children where the problem only worsens. Also a great book to read is SELF MATTERS BY DR PHIL. YOU MATTER ACT ON IT!!

i think this is very disrepectful to you and you should not accept this kind of behavior. some men need this ego massage constantly - they need to feel they're still desirable and able to seduce other women... do you honestly believe that if one of these women he flirts with wants to go further with him, he won't do it?? no woman has to go through this... you deserve someone who respects you and is glad to be with you every day of his life. of course we feel attracted to other people when married or in love, but touching them and doing what your husband seems to be doing is a whole other story.

I love to flirt but that doesn't mean I want to be with someone else but my couple. I love my boyfriend but I like when someone is attracted to me...that's nature...
Don't bother him with questions...mens doen't like womens asking for everything and showing they are jealous for every woman passing in front of them... give him the chance to be free and be sure he is gonna be trustworthy forever!

i think it more of a case of knowing that even though he is in a commited relationship, he still HAS IT. he could go out and flirt and get any girl he wants. thats why so many men go throguh midlife crisis's. they feel as though they are losing it. the exuberance they had in their twenties.

He is just a player, and has never grown up yet. Tell him to act as a married man. and have more respect for you and himself! Tell him he makes you very uncomfortable, acting this way. Ask him what he wants out of life!
