My sister in law has giving me a hardtime since I started dating my husband. Neverthelesss, I try to forget all that she has done to me and go on for the sake of my husband. I wanted to congratulate her on a achievement she acomplished (we do care about each other and try to get along) so I posted a message on her blog page. My sist in law has been really busy and did not check her blog to appove my comment. In the middle of a conversation with my husband, I told him I wish I could remember the password so I can approve it so she can see it. I ovbiously would have called her first or something, but it was not my inention to just log in. Then I noticed, my husband knew the password, he just did not want to give it to me. I remind him that she had giving me her blog password before and he was there. He then said, that since he is a tech support person, he does not give passwords away. I was like, this is not work, I am not asking you for her bank account password.

To me it just does not make any sense. She had giving me the pswd before, and I was not able to remember it, I almost remembered but who cares. It's the principle, he did not trust me with it. He says that is not about a that its about not giving pswds away because they are personal. If I was in his shoes I would have given it to him, he is my husband and I trust him completely yet I feel that he does not. Help!

Whoa - what a fuss about nothing.

So what if your sister-in-law has been giving you a hard time? You married your husband, not her.........has he stuck by you? Well, you are still together, so I guess he has.

Doesn't matter whether its a password for her bank account or her blog page - the point is that you should respect the fact that your husband is not in a position to give it away.

Its not that he doesn't trust you - its because he does not want to betray the trust of his sister.

Try to see it from his point of view.

I do understand your feelings and you have a right to be hurt..
I do understand your husbands position and he has a right to it.
I do not know if there is an absolute right or wrong here..
If it were me, I would probably give you the password...

Whatever happened to the telephone at your house? A simple call or even stopping by might have been a better choice. This world has got so technical that cant even talk person to person anymore? Simplify.

i think it is a misunderstanding more than he doesn't trust you
could it be like she asked him not to give her password to anyone or he knows that she might get upset .
maybe he expressed his opinion in tough way but i think the core of what he said is right ...
