Jon Stewart - a multi-trick pony. Everything is funny.

Stephen Colbert - a funny guy but I don't want a whole show making fun of the windbags on news shows (O'Reilly, Matthews, Grace, etc.)

Stephen Colbert.

Jon Stewart is great, but he's essentially playing himself.

Stepehn Colbert masterfully plays a character quite different from himself (check out the recent profile from New York magazine at www.nymag.com). He does more of his own writing than Stewart, too.

Stephen Colbert. He is SO much funnier and wittier. I used to watch Stewart just to see Colbert, before Colbert got his own show. Stephen is the best!

That is a tough one. I like them both but I would go with Jon Stewart because I think he is a little funnier
