If you are blid to things that are going on in the world then you don't see the badness that happens, the downside is that you don't see the good things either. I'm not sure that ignorance is bliss but innocence is to be treasured.

Because if they just blindly follow whatever Bush and his Nazi regime throw at them without question and voting by Republican, they can sing a little song in their heads about "Life is in the Pink" and they can be totally oblivious when the bombs start falling on their pointed little brainwashed heads.

Abraham Lincoln said that the cost of ignorance is much higher than the cost of education. Up until now, I have paid over 200,000 for my education, much more, and I am going to opt for ignorance.

Believing you're happy feels the same as being happy.The truth can be sad,scary,hard and difficult to grasp.So much easier and peaceful to believe fantasies that are happy,loving,and easy to understand.
