The massacre of a huge number of people just to prove a point or stand up for what you believe in can be nothing if not a social evil. Valuing human life so little is evil in itself. It's mass murder, with a hugely inadequate motive.

If you don't understand why terrorism is wrong, then you don't understand why it's wrong to go into a shopping mall full of people (including women, children and babies) and just blow yourself up for some cause you believe in.
