A coward!

This is a simplistic view to take, Osama is like the bogeyman in the States now when really he's just being used as a symbolic figurehead for the nameless, faceless terrorist, many of whom follow the beat of their own drum and have never met Osama. The question you should ask yourself is why your own government trained Osama Bin Laden in CIA style tactics which he then used against you, why the government sent around a private plane around the States picking up all the members of Bin Ladens family in the hours after 9/11 and removing them from your country before they were questioned, why many people who would have voted Democrat were prevented from voting or had their votes miscounted the first time he won, why you went to war with Afghanistan when Bin Laden is from Saudi Arabia, (oil perhaps??) why you went to war with Iraq when there were no WMDs (oil perhaps?) why Bush spent 20 mins reading my pet goat after the trade center got hit and then hid on a military base and then realise that whilst terrorist atrocities arecompletely unacceptable, George Bush is also a complete twerp and there are wider conspiracies afoot in your potentially corrupt government which persists in successfully fooling the ignorant masses that there are black and white "goodies and baddies" in the world!

it is obviously a satirical placed up and that i dont think of HuffPo would properly be held in charge for the ignorant people who can not parent it so. This became on no account meant to be a intense journalistic piece, its area of a column AND on your placed up YOU OMITED THIS area of the article which suits on the VERY end... and that i quote: Kristol sucked his thumb for a couple of minutes, lost in theory. He became then distracted by way of a brightly colored piece of string. A passerby, informed of the bin weighted down pardon, presented a a danger explanation: "consistent with hazard Bush is attempting to smoke him out. Wasn't that the plan?" __________ So obvioulsy right here you are able to tell its a comedian tale! DERRRRRRR

Come on, now. That's a ridiculous assertion that they should go mano a mano. The age of chivalry has passed, you know?
This is a clash of cultures with Bush seeking to impose his interpretation of American values on the rest of the world. The problem is that many parts of the world don't want anything to do with it.
It has more to do with narrow mindedness, arrogance and ignorance on Bush's part than heroism.

Because Bush would have snipers and several small squads standing by hidden and Osama would send someone else in his place to blow themselves up along with Bush.

I bet if it is a real one on one, GW Bush is the one not ready to show up. Bin Laden has nothing to lose for one. If he die in such a fight, he will be stronger to his people anyway. On the other hand, GW has just 2 more years to go to an extremely comfortable retirement - with the exception of a rare chance of impeachment because he lied to the US congress and the US people on the intention of the Iraq war. On the other hand, W is probably stupid enough to do it - we just never know.

Why don't you setup this one on one thing and invite them both. It will be a good show....

He'd have to come to the White House or on vacation with Bush because that's about where he hangs out.

Oh yeah....maybe Bin Laden can get him on one of his "surprise-super-protected" visits to Iraq.

You mean the leader of a terrorist organisation face up to the leader of the world's most affluent nation?

He would be a fool, not a brave man.

I think he is wrong but has put his life where his principles are.
If only a few people in the west who think they have all the answers to world peace actually devoted their life in it's persuit maybe they would make a difference.

I think he is a mad coward. Like other country leaders-Hitler, Stalin. They talk and talk and make others do their dirty deeds but they themselves hide. Of course with Hitler, he could only hide in buildings and we eventually found him but Bin Laden had things planned for 20 years and had men dig caves and tunnels all over the mountains for hiding places. Just the mere fact that he has planned these things out 20 some years ago shows that he is maddening. Yet some what a genius to have patience for so long to see his plans thru. Many mad/insane people are geniuses, sad to say.

I know it's not feasible but with our weapontry, I think we could just send missles into all the cave openings we have found by radar and one of them should get him.
