all it says is pci graphics vga. I have opened up the tower but its like a foreign language in there...! please please help

Download everest and install it , then run it . Find your graphics card and either go to the manufacturers website and download the latest driver or one of these sites

First download the program Everest Home Edition (it's freeware):
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Everest-Home-Edition.shtml Than install and open the program: under Display search PCI/AGP Video and you'll find the name of your graphic card.

Go to www.sisoftware.co.uk/sandra. Download the free version.When it has loaded click on the Display and Display Adaptors tab and it will give you all the info you need.It also covers Motherboard ...Bios details and loads of other useful info about your P/C along with tips for upgrades etc; Well worth the download !!

You could try looking on the manufacturer's website if it was a manufactured PC. Otherwise talk to who you bought it from. Other than those two choices, you must open it up and look inside.

Go to download.com or tucows.com and download a free version of Sisoft Sandra. It will tell you more than you ever wanted to know about all the hardware in your computer (Assuming Windows).

go into secure mode with networking. appropriate click "my pc" > "properties" > Hardware" > device supervisor" enhance "demonstrate adaptors uninstall each and every thing in it. acquire new drivers from ati internet site. reboot decrease back into secure mode (with networking) deploy the drivers reboot nornally
