Valerian or vervain tea but only now and again. Chamomile tea but only seep tea for 5mins as become a stomatic which will shoot anything you've eaten through you or vomit if left longer. A good lavendar or night sented stock oil. Health food stores do a good range of teas like serenity or night time. Even eat a load of lettuce, yep, the core has saphoric juice. The french boil about 7 lettuce and drink mixture, never tried it myself so don't know if works.

You need a good oil burner...seriously...get an oil burner, invest in some essential oils, proper ones not scented oils, you want lavendar, chammomile and peppermint. Put water in the oil burner, one to two drops of each of the oils...no more , light a tea light underneath the oil burner, voila, job done.....helps you relax, unwind and clear your mind....you could also try a good massage, indian head massage , hopi ear candles (used by the hopi indians to induce a state of deep relaxation and trance) or reflexology....goood luck..zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

could try aromatherapy or scented candles, lavender has good relaxation qualities.
one other thing which may sound daft to some people is classical music, have it on so it is just audible in the background.
hope these help.

Try bathing in Lavender oil/bubble bath, then use lavender based body lotion and have a hot milky drink and good book.
Not as much fun as alcohol tough! lol
