I have an older computer and I am not computer literate. I contacted dell to ask what to do to change my home page they said i needed an administative password. They couldn't tell me how to get it. If any one has an idea i sure would appreciate it.

Well, you don't need an administrator password to reset the home page. Just bring up the new page you want to use, click on Tools/Internet Options and choose the current page.

Of course your system could be infected with some form of spyware/browser hijacker that prevents you from changing it- you'd just need to run a good spyware cleaner to cure that.

Try this page... I don't think you need an Admin password...
