apparently everyone in Texas is a cold wimp (South Texas anyway). I'm an Illinoisan transplanted to Texas and the first cold snap we got, I laughed my a** off. It was like MAAAAYBE 60 degrees, and people were out in scarves and coats! I might wear a hoodie, but definitely not a scarve and coat in 60 degree weather. But then again, the weather changes quickly here. It goes from 90 one day to 60 the next during the season change. So..it just FEELS like a major drop, but it's really not.

I like it cold but not freezing. Freezing cold gets too me. Even when I dress for the occasion I still feel cold.
Two years ago I was hunting elk in Northern Colorado. It was 3 degrees F with snow on the ground with a 10-15 mile a hour breeze sitting up against an evergreen tree on a mountain slope. I had all the good hunting gear on and I was still cold.

Try living in Upstate NY. I would much rather be warm. It's cold and wet with high winds here. Lets get all of the Y/A answerers together, form a big huddle, and keep each other warm!

ME! I hate being cold. During the colder months, a hat is a must.
And at home, I'm usually plugged into the electric blanket or the electric throw, or the hot tub. I LOVE the sun, AND warmth!

I have lived my entire life in the northeast. Always very cold and at times tons of snow, and blizzards. I guess you just adapt to your environment. Warm water proof jackets, hats, gloves, scarfs, thermal underwear etc. etc.

Me too. I used a website to find the perfect place to live and it said Wisconsin. I decided to stay here in my warm crime ridden area. I mean how bad do my kids need a good education and safe place to live? I already can't leave the house during winter in ATL, how would I survive Wisconsin?

*raises hand* Dragon hates being cold! She lives in MN and so spends all of winter freezing. Brrrrrrrr... Very cold right now. It gets under 50 and Dragon pulls out the big winter coat and hat and mittens and scarf and sweaters and stuff.

I'm in PA. Honest to goodness, if it gets below 50 degrees I shiver uncontrollably. It's bad. I'm such a wimp. You are in good company. I'd rather sweat ANYDAY!
