i have lower back pain and it is hard to tell how a car seat works without trying it for a while - i have gone through many new cars b/c seats eventually turn otu to be uncomfortable

The Lexus LS 460L, My car, to me, has the most comfortable seats especially if you get some else to drive and you ride in the back seat, because the seats lay back and your legs go up like a lazy boy(nice). If you want something less expensive, then next would be the Toyota Land Cruiser, of course not as comfortable as the Lexus, but it is still very very comfortable. Wise you the best. STAY MOTIVATED.

The Pontiac Grand Prix was very nice. I too have a really bad back and can sympathize with you. Instead of buying try rentals. That's what I did until I found what I wanted. Some vehicle have the "lumbar" device but I find that doesn't really help me and aggravates me more. But car rentals are cheap on the weekends and just request the vehicle you want to try. Your wife will love you for taking her on those little weekend getaways!

I have a Lexus and it is definitely comfortable. I couldn't afford a new Lexus by a long shot, so I bought one that was 6 years old and got a quality car with good back support for less than many cars would cost brand new. Good luck!

i own a repair shop,and some of the newer Toyota's have some of the most comfortable seats in them,they have nice soft feel to them,yet they have a firm feel also,but i get to drive a lot of cars after repairing them,and there's a lot of cars out there now that really feel comfortable to ride in,all car makers have improved there quality reall y well in the past few years,so it would be hard to narrow it down to just one or two,good luck,,i hope this help,s.

I have a cadillac with heated seats which I find good for my back. You can also buy heated supports that you can plug into your cigareette lighter.
